Home Care Today provides support for Home Care Package providers as they begin or continue to implement consumer directed care (CDC) across their organisations.

The project delivers a range of strategies and approaches targeted at supporting the successful design and delivery of consumer directed care in Home Care Packages.  Home Care Today provides information, practical tools, advice and learning resources that equip providers to operate and deliver quality consumer directed care.

These services and assistance, which are targeted at needs at all levels of the organisation, are available to all Australian Home Care Package providers. Ultimately the aim is to support both providers and consumers so both will fully benefit from the consumer directed approach in delivering services.

Support for providers is being planned in conjunction with Aged and Community Services Australia (ACSA)  and Leading Aged Services Australia (LASA).
